The remit of the position is therefore to build up a portfolio of IFA practices who wish to offer bespoke, discretionary investment management to their clients but lack the resources, time or skills to perform such work themselves. This particular role will initially focus on the North West of England, although it is expected that eventually clients in Yorkshire will also be targeted.

To be considered a background as a broker consultant or business development manager would be ideal, as being very well connected in the IFA arena would be a pre-requisite. Candidates will also have a very strong understanding of the investment markets, preferably backed up with specialist qualifications (such as the IMC or Securities Institute Diploma) alongside the FPC (or equivalent).
